	i met a young figure model named petra at a weekly figure drawing group in the small town near my home. during a break i told her about the eakins painting of the model assisted down from her pose by the artist, and she said i knew you would call when i contacted her to arrange private sessions. i began a long series of charcoal drawings and mixed media paintings with her. she taught me to draw the figure.
