Spring 2005 ... continued to explore botanicals, helped by a local florist with splendid practical knowledge of the domain ... intensive work in landscape, including plein air paintings, field surveys for photodocumentation, studies of foliage greens, and several attempts to explore a local inland waterway (the Estero) accessible only by kayak ... a few figure studies and portraits.
