William Herschel's Double Star Catalog: Observer's Checklist
This is a compact version of the complete Herschel double star catalog for use as an observer's checklist. It lists all confirmed Herschel entries in order of right ascension. Latest measurements of position angle (theta) and separation (rho) are given for the epoch indicated, with the change (Δ) in value since Herschel's time (c.1780 to 1830). Magnitudes are for the primary star and the companion described by the positional measurements; however many of the stars are multiple, and information about other companions is provided in the Notes to the full length version.
